Skills Covered:  Welcome spring with a hands‑on woodworking experience at Hometown Woodshop! In this guided Make & Take class, you’ll build a beautiful, solid cedar planter, perfect for flowers, herbs, or small shrubs. Designed for beginners and weekend makers alike, this class is a fun, approachable way to create something you’ll use all season long.

Class Size: Limited to 10 students per class.  Minimum age 18 years old.

Class FAQ:

  • Students will have access to all tools required for this class, all materials will be provided.
  • Taking note is a good thing, along with sketches, so bring a notebook and pencil.
  • You'll be in a working shop, so dress expecting to get some sawdust on your clothing, with no dangling clothing or jewelry. 
  • Plan to attend all classes, we do not offer make-up sessions at this point or refunds for missed classes.
  • If you need to cancel, you must notify us before class starts. You will receive credit towards another class or time.  Once the class has started no refunds or credit will be given.
