Make & Take: Pizza Peel

Skills Covered:  Bring the joy of handmade to your kitchen with a custom wooden pizza peel in this guided Make & Take class at Hometown Woodshop! You’ll craft a classic pizza peel designed for both function and presentation, perfect for sliding pizzas in and out of the oven or serving them in style. Designed for beginners and weekend makers alike, this class introduces essential woodworking techniques with a focus on shaping, sanding, and smooth finishes. You’ll leave with a beautiful, food-safe piece that’s as practical as it is impressive for your next pizza night.

Class Size: Limited to 10 students per class.  Minimum age 18 years old.

Class FAQ:

• Students will have access to all tools required for this class, all materials will be provided.
• Taking note is a good thing, along with sketches, so bring a notebook and pencil.
• You'll be in a working shop, so dress expecting to get some sawdust on your clothing, with no dangling clothing or jewelry. 
• Plan to attend all classes, we do not offer make-up sessions at this point or refunds for missed classes.
• If you need to cancel, you must notify us before class starts. You will receive credit towards another class or time.  Once the class has started no refunds or credit will be given.
