Make & Take: Keep Sake Box

Duration: 2 days - 2 hours each day.

Skills Covered:  Create a meaningful piece you’ll treasure for years to come in this guided Make & Take class at Hometown Woodshop! You’ll build a handcrafted keepsake box, perfect for storing memories, photos, jewelry, or special mementos. Designed for beginners and weekend makers alike, this class introduces essential woodworking techniques while focusing on precision and clean finishes. You’ll leave with a beautifully crafted, personal piece that is both functional and full of lasting value.

Class Size: Limited to 10 students per class.  Minimum age 18 years old.

Class FAQ:

• Students will have access to all tools required for this class, all materials will be provided.
• Taking note is a good thing, along with sketches, so bring a notebook and pencil.
• You'll be in a working shop, so dress expecting to get some sawdust on your clothing, with no dangling clothing or jewelry. 
• Plan to attend all classes, we do not offer make-up sessions at this point or refunds for missed classes.
• If you need to cancel, you must notify us before class starts. You will receive credit towards another class or time.  Once the class has started no refunds or credit will be given.
