Make & Take: Garden Bench

Duration: 1 class - 3 hours.

Skills Covered:  Enjoy a relaxing, hands-on woodworking experience at Hometown Woodshop as you build your very own handcrafted garden bench. In this guided Make & Take class, you’ll work with quality lumber to create a sturdy, functional bench—perfect for your patio, garden, or entryway. Designed for beginners and weekend makers alike, this class walks you through essential woodworking techniques in a fun, approachable environment. You’ll leave with a beautiful, practical piece you can enjoy all season long (and for years to come).

Class Size: Limited to 10 students per class.  Minimum age 18 years old.

Class FAQ:

• Students will have access to all tools required for this class, all materials will be provided.
• Taking note is a good thing, along with sketches, so bring a notebook and pencil.
• You'll be in a working shop, so dress expecting to get some sawdust on your clothing, with no dangling clothing or jewelry. 
• Plan to attend all classes, we do not offer make-up sessions at this point or refunds for missed classes.
• If you need to cancel, you must notify us before class starts. You will receive credit towards another class or time.  Once the class has started no refunds or credit will be given.
